They never visited your site. They never saw your case studies. They typed one question into an AI assistant and got three names back.
Yours wasn't one of them.
You won't see it in your CRM. There was no lead to lose. It just shows up as a quiet quarter nobody can explain.
So you rewrite the copy. You tweak the funnel. You post more. None of it helps, because the problem isn't your work. It's how your work reads to a machine.
A brand voice they connect with
A founder story that lands
Testimonials that sound warm
The sense that "these are my people"
Who you're for, said plainly
Claims it can quote and verify
Proof that matches across every site
The same story everywhere it looks
You don't need more content. You need content both readers can use.

- INSIDE THE BOOK
No prompt packs. No "rank in AI" hacks. A working system you can run on a real brand.
INTRO
Find out what AI says about you today.
One copy-and-paste prompt shows who gets named in your category, and whether you do.
CH 1 & 4
Write one page that works for both readers.
Keep the line that moves people. Add the plain facts AI can quote. Then do the same for your testimonials and founder story.
CH 2 & 3
Replace the persuasion tricks that no longer reach the buyer.
Countdown timers, gated PDFs and logo walls do nothing for an AI. Learn the six swaps that do.
CH 5
Stop losing buyers after AI sends them to you.
Spot where your page contradicts what the AI promised, and close the gap before the buyer leaves.
CH 6
Get on the shortlist before the meeting is booked.
Buyers now arrive with an AI-built brief. Learn what to publish so you're in it, described the way you'd want.
CH 7
Score your brand out of 24.
Run the 12-item Dual Code Audit, find your worst three gaps and fix them this month.
CH 9
Follow a 90-day plan.
Twelve weeks. One focused job every Monday. Small enough to actually get done.

- WHO IT'S FOR
Clients are asking why they don't show up in AI. You need a real answer, and a method you can run on every account.
Your product is strong. Your pipeline is quieter than it should be. You want to know if AI is sending your buyers elsewhere, and how to stop it.
You're a blogger or content writer. Your posts read well, but AI answers quote someone else. Learn why one dense, useful post beats a year of thin ones, and how to write posts a model can quote and cite.
Not for you if...
You want a shortcut, a prompt pack, a guaranteed result or a way to churn out more posts. This is a system. It works if you do the work.

For decades the rules held. Persuade the person, win the sale.
Now there's a machine in the middle. It doesn't feel urgency. It doesn't care how charming you are. It reads what you publish and decides if you're worth naming.
Most brands haven't adjusted yet. That's your window. The ones who move now get named. The rest wonder where their buyers went.

Billie Sharp owns a tech company and a marketing agency. That gives her something most marketing authors don't have: the backend data.
For ten months, from November 2025 to August 2026, she studied what AI was doing to marketing using that data. She didn't guess. She watched the shift show up in the numbers inside her own businesses, then built a system to deal with it. That system is this book.
What that means for you: every chapter comes from what she saw happen, not from someone else's prediction.
"I'm not a guru, and I won't sell you a guarantee. I'll give you a rule, an audit and a plan for Monday."

- FREE CHAPTER
Chapter 7 is The Dual Code Audit: twelve items, each scored 0, 1 or 2, out of 24. It’s the chapter that turns the whole book into a number you can act on. Read the opening free, then get the full audit and score yourself this week.
CHAPTER 7
This is the chapter that earns the rest of the book.
You can agree with every argument I have made and still be invisible on Monday if you do not look at your own pages with a score. Dual Code is not a mood. It is a file. Files can be inspected.
I am not going to audit you. I do not want a screenshot of your homepage in my inbox. I want you to run this on your own brand this week, in your own browser, with the same tools your buyers already use. If you do not have a website, use LinkedIn plus whatever public profile a customer would actually find. The test is not prestige. The test is whether a machine can extract you and a human can still want you.
I will give you twelve items. Each scores 0, 1, or 2. Total possible: 24.
0 means absent or actively working against you.
1 means partial. A human could infer it. A machine would have to guess.
2 means a model can extract it and a person is not punished for the extraction.
Write the scores down. Paper is fine. A note on your phone is fine. The number is not a personality. It is a queue.
A note on honesty. If you score yourself 22 because you “know what you meant,” you have not taken the audit. You have performed confidence. Open a private window. Be the intern. If you would have to be psychic, the score is not a 2.
The twelve items are not a staircase. You do not “unlock” citation web after schema. You look at the whole file at once. Identity sits at the rim: readability, entity, consistency. Then match: spec, intent pages, objections. Then proof: claims with receipts, reviews, citation web. At the center is signal density. Human Code and Machine Code in the same blocks. Gated content and structured data either feed that center or starve it.
Block three hours this week, or three sessions of one hour. Do not do it with the marketing deck open. Do it with the live URLs.
Hour one: Items 1 through 4, plus the 10:41 p.m. query from Chapter 6. Screenshot the AI answers before you look at your own site. The screenshot is the judge. Your homepage is the defendant.
Hour two: Items 5 through 8. This is the unglamorous pass. Reviews. Schema. Gates. Intent pages. You will be tempted to skip schema because it sounds like a developer chore. Read it anyway. You do not need to become a developer. You need to know whether the machine is being handed a labeled file or a pile of pretty pixels.
